The Alexandria Jaycees have been hosting an event in Alexandria for more than 12 yrs providing our younger generation with skills of friendly competition and involvement in the outdoors.

This year’s event will be April 28th at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria.

Registration starts at 12:00 pm.
Competition starts at 1:00 pm.
Located at the west ball field at Woodland Elementary School. Look for the Jaycee sign for Pitch hit and run.

What is Pitch, Hit & Run?

Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a FREE, 1-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14. Competitors compete in four age groups: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. Age is determined as of July 17, 2019. Copy of the birth certificate may be required for participation at the local level and will be required if the competitor advances

Participants compete in either the Baseball Division or Softball Division and have the opportunity to advance through four levels of competition including Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.

NO METAL SPIKES ARE ALLOWED
Use of metal spikes will result in the minimum score.

PHR is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and can be hosted by any organization, league, civic group or set of volunteers in the community.

Providing great opportunities in the community like this event is what the Jaycees is all about we are a non profit organization and only benefit with helping the community.
