The Alexandria Jaycees have been hosting an event in Alexandria for more then 12 yrs providing our younger generation with skills of friendly competition and involvement in the outdoors.

Sunday, April 30th
Knute Nelson Memorial Baseball Field
5th Ave & Elm Street, Alexandria

Registration: Begins at Noon
Competition: Starts at 1pm

 

Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a FREE, 1-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14. Competitors compete in four age groups: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. Age is determined as of July 17, 2017. Copy of the birth certificate may be required for participation at the local level and will be required if the competitor advances.

 

Boys and girls compete separately and participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition including Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.

 

  • ** No Metal Spikes Are Allowed For Competition

 

PHR is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and can be hosted by any organization, league, civic group or set of volunteers in the community.

 

Providing great opportunities in the community like this event is what the Jaycees is all about we are a non profit organization and only benefit with helping the community.
